Cold Forming Aluminum Foil Details:
Alu-alu foil, also known as cold-stamped aluminum foil, is a high-barrier composite material with a composite structure of OPA/AL/PVC. The aluminum in the middle layer provides a 100% barrier to water vapor, oxygen, and UV rays, making it particularly suitable for pharmaceutical blister packaging.
Cold-formed aluminum foil is currently the most barrier-resistant composite film available, offering strong barrier properties against water, oxygen, and UV rays. It is particularly suitable for hygroscopic or photosensitive pharmaceuticals and generic drugs.
After cold stamping, aluminum foil can replace the PVC layer in PTP blister packaging, significantly improving the protection of pharmaceuticals such as tablets, pills, and capsules, helping to maintain drug stability and extend their shelf life.
Excellent Barrier Properties
Excellent light-blocking, moisture-proof, air-tight, and odor-retaining properties.
Moisture Resistance
Cold forming aluminum foil has excellent moisture barrier properties, effectively protecting medicines from humidity and extending their shelf life.

Yes. You may have your logo or batch information printed on the exterior layer of the OPA. It can also be customized in colors like gold or silver for branding or identification.
The aluminum layer is typically among 47 and 60 microns thick, yet the overall thickness of the composite depends on the structure. It will be possible to make custom thicknesses based on the design of the blister as well as deep it is formed.
